NepaLinux 2.0 DVD that comprises both the GNOME and KDE Desktop Environments has been released by Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya on August 17,2007. Earlier, owing to space and other technical constraints, the two desktop environments had been packaged in two different CDs and hence had to be installed in two different hard drive partitions. Now with the release of the DVD, an user may actually install both of these environments and chose to work in any of the preferred environments with their personal data and the file systems remaining unaltered in terms of location. In addition to this, the DVD has come up with the recently developed open source font "Madan"developed by Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya. Among other new features, the DVD is developed in such a way that one can actually access the applications belonging to KDE while working in the GNOME Desktop Environment and vice versa. Hence, a user may even not need to log off and go to the other environment.
